Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Start by lying on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.

  2. 2

Slowly press your hips toward the ceiling until you form a straight line from your shoulders to your knees.

  3. 3

Squeeze your booty and draw your belly button toward your spine, keeping your core engaged throughout the exercise.

  4. 4

Grab a dumbbell, holding the heads of the dumbbell with your hands.

  5. 5

Extend your arms above your chest. Slowly bend your elbows and bring the dumbbell toward your forehead.

  6. 6

Straighten out your arms, concentrating on squeezing your triceps.

  7. 7

Repeat this movement for approximately 10–20 repetitions or until your triceps feel fatigued.

  8. 8

    Rest.

  9. 9

    Repeat.

Notes

This exercise will help tighten the backs of your arms — an area a lot of people complain about.
