Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Start by standing tall with your feet together.

  2. 2

Step your right foot out wide to the side and lower into a squat, pushing your hips back and keeping your chest up.

  3. 3

Press through your right heel to stand back up, bringing your right foot back to the starting position.

  4. 4

Immediately step your left foot out wide to the side and lower into a squat.

  5. 5

Press through your left heel to return to starting position.

  6. 6

    Continue alternating sides.

Notes

Keep your toes pointing forward or slightly out. Make sure the knee of your squatting leg tracks over your toes and does not cave inward.
