Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Lie on your back and raise your legs to 90 degrees so they are parallel to the floor.

  2. 2

Extend your arms toward your feet.

  3. 3

Engage your core and crunch up, reaching your hands toward your feet.

  4. 4

Lower back down with control, keeping your legs at 90 degrees throughout.

  5. 5

    Repeat for the prescribed reps.

Notes

Keeping the legs elevated throughout the set significantly increases the lower ab challenge. If your lower back lifts off the floor, lower your legs slightly or return to the standard Pop Up.
