Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Place two dumbbells on the floor shoulder-width apart. Grip the handles and start in a high plank position.

  2. 2

Your body should form a straight line from your head to your heels.

  3. 3

Keep your core tight, your glutes squeezed, and your hips level.

  4. 4

Grip the dumbbell handles firmly to maintain stability.

  5. 5

    Hold for the prescribed time.

Notes

Make sure the dumbbells are on a non-slip surface. The elevated hand position slightly increases the range of motion and the grip challenge compared to a flat-palm plank.
